I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but I disapprove of this. That has to be damaging. Also, makes me dizzy.

You do realize the “kind Minnesotans”and the people who are protesting are the.... same people... right? https://twitter.com/startribune/status/1383746127640551424

Star Tribune@StarTribune

A couple hundred feet away from the Brooklyn Center unrest, kind Minnesotans donated and distributed over 100,000 pounds of food and 20,000 pounds of supplies: toothpaste, toilet paper, laundry detergent and feminine products to Brooklyn Center residents. http://strib.mn/3sBcCiB

This isn’t McLaughlin’s, the @vallejopd officer in the video, first claim of excessive force. In Aug 2018 he pulled his weapon, while off-duty and in street clothes, in a crowded shopping complex after getting into a “verbal altercation.”

This right here is a key, revealing fact of how inside GOP politics are working out in Georgia.

Greg Bluestein@bluestein

Meanwhile in Fannin County, Kemp narrowly avoids a rebuke. Activists there tell me there was an overwhelming vote to slam the governor, but by the time the vote was held there was no longer enough delegates to keep a quorum. #gapol

I didn’t have to be the father of a lymphoma survivor to join 414 of my colleagues in voting to reauthorize the National Marrow Donor Program. I just believe it’s patriotic to help save American lives. https://bit.ly/3x4Mn7g

In Search of Sungudogo by Greg Laden.

Sometimes called the "fourth African ape," Sungudogo is not a Gorilla, not a Chimpanzee, not a Bonobo, and possibly not even real. Years ago, Sungudogo drew the interest of the world famous primatologist Dieter Phillips, who was funded by a secret society of "scholars and gentlemen" to launch an expedition to determine the veracity of this mysterious primate. Dieter never returned from that expedition, and as the years passed, the whole story drifted into obscurity. But the watchers were always watching, always waiting, for clues of the fate of this expedition. When new evidence came to light, the investigation was renewed into the outcome of Phillip's ill fated trek into the Rain Forest. Who better to follow Dieter Phillip's tracks than his former student, aided by an explorer and mercenary familiar with the area, assisted by two willing Congolese park guards? They were to learn things that went beyond their wildest imaginations, and they would discover secrets about Phillip's expedition, about the rift valley, about themselves, about humanity, that they would never be able to share but that would change their lives forever.
