When I saw the interview, my thought was, “I’ll bet that movie really sucks.” Not the topic, mind you, but the actual movie. I’ll be interested to see what the critics say about it.
The clip looks good. To me it looks like an old school Star Wars fight with slightly different guns.
However, Lucas then had to go and spoil it by describing the film as “very patriotic”. Usually that means shitloads of dreary dialog about how America is really really awesome, honest.

It looked good to me, but then again, I have pretty low standards in movies.
