I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news and bird

The good news is that I’ve got a nice little piece in print over at American Scientist; It is a double book review concerning human evolution. Please go have a look and maybe say something nice.

The bad news isn’t really bad news, but it is, well, not pretty. I posted a link to a story about how the coppers are moving in on this gang of thieves and their co-conspirators who stole and then disseminated a bunch of emails … you’ve heard of it: Climate Gate. Well, they (the co-conspirators and their allies) have shown up on my blot and I’m currently being threatened in public with a bunch of law suits, which nicely matches with the private threats I get from the same group which often include threats of violence.

Check it out.

They don’t have any science to back their claim that there is no such thing as global warming or other climate change, so they do this.

Oh, as long as I’m pointing to other things, please visit my latest (monthly) post at 10,000 Birds, this one being about why Robins have red breasts.

  1. Have you prepared your legal defense yet? Because like…you are like…totally like….going to get sued. Totally and for realz definitely.

  2. What you are seeing here is only slightly more intense than the usual background that I don’t allow on the blog and/or get via email. But now and then I like to allow all/most of the comments on one post (minus links to denialist sites) to demonstrate what they are busy doing all the time.

Hey, the most recent one is a real live death threat!

A few weeks ago one guy told me the kind of gun he was going to use to shoot me with.

None of this is as bad as what the average female skeptic blogger who is targeted by the usual winged monkeys has to endure.

  3. Wow Greg, sorry to see you get this kind of crap from these thugs. They have to know that if they have to resort to death threats and threats to sue you to keep you quiet that they can no long claim to be calm, rational skeptics questioning the AGW “cult”. In fact, they are the ones coming off as dogmatic and intolerant of dissent. Hopefully, this continued exposure of the underhanded techniques these scumbags employ to harass climate scientists will destroy the undeserved legitimacy these cranks enjoy in the mainstream media.
