Rick Perry’s strategy is to appear as much like George Bush as possible. He’s pretty much nailing that.

When asked by the AP if he felt this event would affect his campaign, he answered “Oh, shoot, no … this ain’t a day for quitting nothing.”

By the way, the third department he wanted to eliminate was the Department of Energy.

  1. I wonder if the still frame preview was specifically chosen because he looks so stupid or if that was just the majority of the footage the automatic preview had to work with

  2. Fucks sake… I just watched the video, my initial comment was supposed to be flippant but now I see it was prophetic.

Can someone this stupid and blatantly unprepared even remotely hope to win an election, even in america? This level of stupid shouldn’t be elected presiedent of a sports club much less a country with nuclear weapons (or are they nucular for perry as well?)

    Um. Ya.

Hey, that nucular thing though, that’s different. Jimmy Carter was the first president (in a long while) with a southern accent, and one of our smartest ever.

(Or was Carter more like “Nuklar” vs. Bush “Nucular”?)
