Cross platform open source app OpenProj comes to the rescue. OpenProj markets itself as a complete replacement for Microsoft Project and boasts complete integration with existing Project files and Primavera.
It’s all well and good if you’re a company and want your staff to have it; but as a freelancer expected to use it and procure it myself, $1000 is just out of my budget. Thanks for finding this alternative, I’ll give it a look.
