Double Dipping? ‘Seinfeld’ Was Right from PhysOrg.com
(AP) — Keep an eye on the salsa this SuperBowl Sunday: A researcher inspired by a famous “Seinfeld” episode has concluded that double dipping is just plain gross.[]

This is, of course, a critically important topic, with the Superbowl scheduled for tomorrow. Some scientists suspect that the spread of Flu is facilitated by Superbowl Activities, during which increasingly inebriated dirty-tee-shirt-wearing guys (some of whom are girls) form small troops, with dip, and engage in activities that facilitate the transmission of disease amongst themselves. This is often facilitated by lewd and sexually suggestive half-time shows, such as this one starring Janet Jackson’s Boob.Enjoy the game tomorrow! But be careful. Wear protection.

  1. The irritating thing about this experiment is that it uses water as the dipping medium. I feel that that completely invalidates the results, as the viscosity is so much lower that of course any germs could easily spread throughout the medium via simple diffusion. With real dip, any contaminated dip [I hypothesize] would simply be carried up by the chip, and the dip itself would not be contaminated.Argh! Why must bad experiments be touted as the final authority on a hairy problem???
