Here they are, but I’m not sure how long the prices will last.
The Revenge of Geography: What the Map Tells Us About Coming Conflicts and the Battle Against Fate by Robert Kaplan.
Leonardo da Vinci by Jay Williams.
Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race by Margot Lee Shetterly.
“The Revenge of Geography” is now on my kindle. Thanks for the tip. As a retired geologist, I am already aware of the important role of processes and settings of which all too many people remain unaware. I have seen places , for example, where houses have been built and bought on actively-moving landslides (the closest common language word for the feature). I’m interested in what Robert Kaplan has to say about the role of geography.
