  1. Instead of marching, I was writing “PROCLAMATION: June 14th is National Sexual Predator Day” as an anti-Trump diatribe at
    http://www.advogato.org/article/1106.html

WHEREAS: Donald J. Trump has a birthday on June 14th.

WHEREAS: Donald J. Trump has sexually assaulted many women.

NOW THEREFORE, WE THE SHEEPLE OF THE UNITED STATES DO HEREBY PROCLAIM JUNE 14th OF EVERY YEAR AS NATIONAL SEXUAL PREDATOR DAY IN HONOR OF THAT GREAT AMERICAN SEXUAL PREDATOR DONALD J. TRUMP.

  2. We went to two satellite “marches” . It is probably tantamount to ants protesting a juggernaut, but you never know. Maybe one of us can crawl into the juggernaut driver’s ear and distract him enough to get him to run the bloody machine off the road. If nothing else, it was a memorable, rainy spring day where we got to meet and exchange contact info with a lot of earnest people whom we didn’t have to hide our political leanings from.

  3. The downer to the day was Trump’s asinine Earth Day comments — the most blatant lie being “”Rigorous science is critical to my administration’s efforts to achieve the twin goals of economic growth and environmental protection.”

The main point of his crap was that the environment will be more strongly protected by gutting the EPA and getting people back to work. Words that are loved by the scum who support him but terrifying to people concerned with reality

  4. I think we can guess some of the fields in which Trumpler will be creating new jobs:
    1. Asthma clinic jobs
    2. Asthma medicine manufacturing
    3. Cancer clinic jobs
    4. Cancer medicine manufacturing
    5. Birth defect counseling
    6. Job counselors for unemployed environmental engineers and pollution control equipment manufacturers.
    7. Coastal infrastructure rebuilding
    8. Home water filter manufacturing and sales
    9. Air conditioner manufacturing
    10. Synthetic food manufacturing
    11. Water rationing management
    12. Basement apocalypse shelter construction.
    13. Sales and manufacturing of armaments and supplies for stocking basement apocalypse shelters.

  5. This has all the slogans and chants and signs of professional protesters, so I am not impressed.

Real scientists write letters to the editor, or write (or blog) about subjects with actual facts. Your blog is excellent in doing this.
