Did he just say we should not pay more taxes becuase we should pay more taxes? Did he say that Obama robbed from God? Or did he say that we should not pay taxes at all and only be tithed for our religion.

Matthew in particular.
They say to him, Caesar’s. Then said he to them, Render therefore to Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s (Matthew 22:21)
Or Mark. (12:17)
Then Jesus said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.” And they were amazed at him.
Or Luke (20:25)
“Caesar’s,” they replied. He said to them, “Then give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
And there’s that verse in Romans too. (13:17)
Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
I would have thought a devout christian would at least have some familiarity with the word of, you know, Jesus. This supposed god dude he seems to talk about so much.
I’m not a Pastafarian, but I religiously try to spend at least 10 % of my income on beer and strippers.
Didn’t Jesus kinda say a bit more about paying taxes than he ever did about abortion, gay marriage, gun rights and the USA?
