The music selection is odd. Great song, but what an odd choice. imo.
The problem is that the satellite looks more like Sputnik (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sputnik_1) rather than a Real American Satellite like Vanguard (http://www.spacedaily.com/news/satellite-tech-03c.html).
Another problem of course is that the device is much larger than either Sputnik or Vanguard – although the antennae are a bit short.

Oh well, I’ll have to content myself with pointing out the implausible intactness and lack of weathering. After all, it was supposed to be “landing” (if that’s the word) in 26 fragments wasn’t it?
Still a good joke to play though – still think they should have greeted the returning STS-135 Atlantis astronauts in gorilla suits too. 😉
