… Or so I’m told.
Chris Holmlund says of “Creation” in an email:
“The film was chosen to open the Toronto Film Festival and has its British premiere on Sunday. It has been sold in almost every territory around the world, from Australia to Scandinavia. However, US distributors have resolutely passed on a film which will prove hugely divisive in a country where, according to a Gallup poll conducted in February, only 39 % of Americans believe in the theory of evolution.”
Here’s a trailer:
Yeah, I would totally go see this. I guess maybe because I’m in that 39%… Seriously, they can’t keep that out of US theaters! So many good actors!
There is no better advertising than censorship.
I haven’t found a current update, but according to a tweet from last night by Adamrutherford, the director says he is close to signing a distribution deal in the U.S.
Fingers crossed.
I don’t think it’s been censored, it’s just that Hollywood isn’t really controlled by Jews, atheists and secularists. It’s controlled by money, and distributors are afraid that it won’t sell.
Rutherford’s follow-up tweet: “As I hea[r] it, Creation will get a US release.”
With the liberal blogosphere pressuring them … whomever them are … how could it be otherwise????
