I have two border collie/cattle dog mixes (and a border collie/lab (we think) mix) and let me tell you, it’s humbling to be outsmarted by your dogs. Herders are pretty smart little beasties.
That’s nothing, look at what this border collie can do.
I think that dogs have definitely a higher intelligence than many other animals, including cats.
