  1. Neat toy, but there is a huge problem with the Black, Caspian, and Aral Seas merging. It all goes back to the Straits of Gibraltar. The Black Sea gets its water from the Mediterranean, the Mediterranean from the Atlantic Ocean. The water level is lower in the Med than the Atlantic, and lower in the Black Sea than the Med. A lot is lost to evaporation along the way. With warmer temperatures it may actually get worse.Increased rainfall would off set this, but only up to a point. What’s really needed is a broader pipeline at Gibraltar, and another widening of the water way at Istanbul. Rather doubt Spain, Morocco, or Turkey would sign off on any such project. In the littoral around open oceans you can expect sea level rise, but in the lands around closed seas, not so much.
