That the executives at Exxon knew in 1981 how their company was a primary contributor to the acceleration of global warming and then did nothing about it except increase their contribution, strikes me as a crime against humanity.At the very least those responsible for those decisions should be going to jail. It’s long past the time when we should have stopped playing nice with the deniers.
If you were writing that for AP the editor would have to change “denier” to “doubter.”
Ya that was a face palm moment. You can just see the editorial board room meeting – “hey they didn’t say what term to use so let’s make it even more ambiguous, that’ll teach them”
