Whew. Uggs are really getting expensive and I am totally unprepared for an ice age.
Target has some pretty good fake Uggs.
Fake Uggs are fine as long as you don’t mind that the fur comes from Chinese raccoon dogs who are skinned alive by slaves. (OK, the “dogs skinned alive” bit is pretty well documented, the slavery bit I’m just guessing at.)
Ugg is a fake trademark stolen from the various makers of the generic sheepskin ugg boot in Australia. There’s a great documentary about the shenanigans involved in this thieving US company getting their fake trademark registered.
