Most of what Kurzweil predicts is, unless society collapses completely, inevitable. However, his predictions for when these technologies will develop is exceptionally optimistic.
I think his predictions are fairly accurate, but I don’t think they’re particularly profound. There’s definitely a cult of personality built around him. When it comes to things like his vitamin regimen, I think that’s complete crap.
