Thanksgiving is in some ways the best holiday because it is all about … gravy. But when you dig a little you find racism and religiosity and other icky stuff. Here’s an example of what can go wrong:

Wow. Transcendently classy. And it’s obvious that they’re totally clueless as to why “so many people got offended”.
What the manager MEANT to say was “We didn’t think (period..the rest of the sentence is superfluous)”. Yes, I think they are still clueless…
Hoooo boy…that was really obscene. Amazing what some people consider funny, clever, and cutting edge. Someone needs a good smacking with a clue by 4.

Reminds me of a little chicken place that opened up in my home town years ago. Advertising slogan: “If there ever was a better piece of chicken the rooster got it.”
Local church group went ballistic. I kinda liked it.
Why do they always say; “It was never intended to offend anyone”? It’s like the little kid who breaks the store window and says; “I didn’t mean to!”
It’s almost refreshing when you encounter a bigot who admits to being one.
