Official opened floodgates on two dams causing flooding that required over two million people to move. It is not clear that residents were warned in advance. The dams are normally opened this time of year to track rainfall patterns in the region.

Who, what, when, where, how, why? This post should at least contain a link to some form of journalism.
I would have thought the link to the BBC would be a good start. You may have mistaken my blog for a newspaper or something. It isn’t. It’s a politically biased tool of rhetoric and propaganda and one of my goals is to trick people into be more aware of stuff that happens in Africa, which is usually ignored in the West.
I left of who and where intentionally because I was pretty sure that, for some readers, if they saw that it was Africa they would chalk it up to “the usual” and not bother following the link at all.
