I’ll have no truck with any argument that employs the premise that reducing abortion is a good thing.
Increase the effectiveness and availability of contraception, please do, but don’t disfigure the boon of modern abortion, now an easy and problem-free medical procedure involving no surgical intervention if available early enough, by describing it as undesirable.
As long as there are women who have functioning wombs and are sexually active, to describe abortion as something you want to reduce is as empty and as insulting as saying you want to wipe out chemotherapy.
