Bachmann’s health care claims falter
Bachmann has said the new health care act will unleash a wave of new federal funding for abortion … contrary to Bachmann’s claims, the law doesn’t fundamentally change federal policy on abortion …a Bachmann spokesman has backed off her prediction…
Tea Party rally cost taxpayers nearly $14k
…Bachmann solidified her place in the national spotlight … when she gathered thousands of Tea Party activists in front of the U.S. Capitol for a “House Call on Washington,” to stop the Democrats’ health care bill….. Months later, official expense reports show that the boisterous, 10,000-person rally to rein in big government and stop runaway spending cost U.S. taxpayers nearly $14,000.
The April 14th Tea Party Rally: A Cup of Rather Weak Tea
The rally was truly weird–and not just due to the stated purpose. There were probably as many people opposed to the Tea Buggers as there were Tea Buggers. We anti-Tea Buggers were ready to roll…and it was really dull. Seriously, break out the Barcaloungers….
A site called Crash the Tea Party advocates attending Tea party rallies and sending the crazy way over the top. The organizer of that site happens to be a teacher, and is now being harrassed for his efforts.
Interesting.
You do realize that I didn’t mean all those bad things I said to you over on that other post, right? (OAYTSTFTO?)
I just don’t understand how some people still believe that federal money will pay for abortions when we already have the Hyde amendment, and the Democrats bent over backwards to make super-duper sure that the Hyde amendment would be upheld. I’m fairly certain that Bachmann is just outright lying on this one because there’s no way she doesn’t know the law on this, regardless of how dumb she pretends to be.

It is because they are teabaggers, Republicans, fundagelicals who are racist, bigoted, misogynistic, homophobic, xenophobic, lack common sense or compassion and have no ethics or morality.
It is that simple.
