Last week, the United States voted for a proposal to prohibit the international trade of Atlantic bluefin tuna at the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in Doha, Qatar. As much as I love (to eat–very occasionally) bluefin tuna, I would hate for such an important (and delicious) species to go extinct. As such, I would be more than willing to undergo a complete (atlantic) bluefin tuna fast for 6 years.
(I also usually catch my own tuna)
