I saw this the other day and thought it was funny. Similar to pieces done on Jon Stewart’s Daily Show in the past.
The Daily Show figured this all out years ago. They have been artfully using the formula to make amusing fake news reports for years.
Sadly, some people consider these bogus satirical vignettes to be real news, especially if the political viewpoint being lambasted is one they dislike.
I guess the Daily Show is at least honest about their biases which is more than can be said for some “mainstream” news outlets.
Of course the Daily Show is real news.
