After nearly eight months, Al Franken has won the election to the United States Senate.
There are indications that Pawlenty will sign the election certificate.

I read the decision. It didn’t direct the governor to certify Franken, it just said Franken had won.
Norm can now take a long hike down the old Appalachian Trail. Bonus points for Normy if he gets Michelle “Bat-Shit Crazy” Bachman to join him.
The Reuters account said Coleman was unlikely to move to a federal appeal. Finally, you’ve got (almost) full representation!
Coleman just had a press conference, and stated he wouldn’t take his fight any further.
A commenter (not a commentator) on our local (Michigan) news just stated that “during this whole mess, Coleman has carried himself as a man of honesty and integrity.”
