Wow — Gemina has been iconic for Santa Barbarans. Her neck was pretty troubling in person, and there were signs around the habitat reassuring the public that she was not in any pain. I’m sorry to see her go, I think the assertion in the video that she was a “great animal ambassador” was spot-on. My kids will be bummed to hear the news.
