I love these things. I had a middle-school science teacher that made one. It was his pride and joy, as it was alive for a number of years. The cap was rusting, though, and his wee beasties special home was very threatened. I looked like a jar of algae, but if you looked at it through the light, you could see things swimming in it.I tried making one, it died in a few months. It smelled real bad when it was finally tossed out.
