I don’t know … “There’s an asteroid with your name on it” doesn’t sound too good.
Rebecca’s asteroid is 4.3 km in diameter. I think it should sound ominous to the whole of Europe and the rest of the world shouldn’t feel that safe either…
Great panel btw. I do think ‘scientism’ could easily be switched by ‘pseudo science’ in the comment by Sikivu.
I do understand where she (and the non-white public in general) are coming from. With deliberate infections of syphilis, genetic profiling that has a hard time distinguishing between people (this problem most affects blacks) a.o. Science hasn’t benefitted people equally.
