{"id":9893,"date":"2011-06-12T07:35:21","date_gmt":"2011-06-12T07:35:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/gregladen\/2011\/06\/12\/netflix-breaks-self-annoys-eve\/"},"modified":"2011-06-12T07:35:21","modified_gmt":"2011-06-12T07:35:21","slug":"netflix-breaks-self-annoys-eve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gregladen.com\/blog\/2011\/06\/12\/netflix-breaks-self-annoys-eve\/","title":{"rendered":"Netflix Breaks Self, Annoys Everyone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Even though some time back Netflix fixed their interface exactly as I wanted them to do it, and within hours after I asked them to (<a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/gregladen\/2011\/04\/thing_that_are_broken_because.php\">see this<\/a>), they have now developed a new web interface to their site that many people a<a href=\"http:\/\/popwatch.ew.com\/2011\/06\/10\/netflix-changes-interface\/\">ppear to hate<\/a>.  I tend to agree with the haters.<\/p>\n<p>What I found is that when I view it with Google Chrome the site breaks in about a half second and I can&#8217;t see a thing.  Then, when it comes back it looks much like their on-Roku inteface, which is OK, but requires mouse movements that I find unnatural and annoying.  And, mostly, impossible to use.  At this point, it would almost be easier to re-up with Blockbuster and physically go there to see and rent the movies.
