The whole story is more insidious and horrific than they will ever cover in this show.<!--more-->From <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/pharyngula\/2007\/11\/judgment_day_liveblogging.php#comment-637493\">Pharyngula,<\/a> I&#8217;m seeing reports that this show is not actually showing everywhere.  For instance, it is not being shown in Memphis.  I wonder how widespread that phenomenon is?So far, they are comparing Intelligent Design to Darwin, with the aid of some living biologists, of course.  Shouldn&#8217;t they be comparing Paley to modern Biology?I&#8217;m on the edge of my seat waiting to see if Ken Miller brings god into the evolutionary picture.It is interesting to hear Kitzmiller&#8217;s comments on the asinine behavior of the Christian yahoos of Dover.Oh, and now we know why there are so many bible thumping radio stations &#8230; I had not heard the story of Lebo, the reporter, and her dad.  Fascinating.By the way, Panda&#8217;s Thumb has a nice list of <strong>books related to Dover<\/strong>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pandasthumb.org\/archives\/2007\/01\/the_dover_books.html\">here.<\/a>Steve Fuller:  Right, as soon as we find a snake that spells &#8220;John Loves Mary&#8221; then we&#8217;ll start looking at ID&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;I also love the fact that Buckingham, supporting ID in dover, got all his info and ideas on the fly and rather ad hoc when somebody sent him a DVD and a book.  That vs. the preponderance of evidence produced by a century of scientific research.  What a dork.  Dork! Dork! Dork!So, we have a mural some kid drew mysteriously dragged out of the school and burned, then we have the evil ID textbook arriving from an anonymous donor.   Dover is starting to sound like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tonkafocus.org\/\">Minnetonka!<\/a>I love the smile on the ACLU guy&#8217;s face. He looks like he just had a huge bank error in his favor.I also find it astounding that the Dover teachers stuck together and seem to have not had a pro-creationist among them.  I don&#8217;t know of a school in Minnesota that is not sprinkled with creationists.  Is Dover unique in this way?&#8230;.  OK, I&#8217;m going to get a beer now&#8230;.
