(No relation.) Because the nutjob in Florida who caused all this fuss has backed down.<\/p>\n
According to “Reverend” Terry Jones, the Islamic Center Rec\/Mosque to have been built at Ground Zero will not be built on that site, and according to Jones, these to cancellations are part of a deal struck between the leader of the Islamic Center’s community and the reverend himself. None of this has been confirmed, but it is being reported by National Public Radio.<\/p>\n
\nOh, and Rev. Jones has now decided that no one else will be burning Qurans:<\/p>\n
“We are, of course, now against any other group burning Qurans,” Jones said during a news conference. We would right now ask no one to burn Qurans. We are absolutely strong on that. It is not the time to do it.”<\/p>\n

Jones said Imam Muhammad Musri of the Islamic Society of Central Florida told him that officials would guarantee that the mosque would be moved.<\/p>\n
“I asked him three times, and I have witnesses,” Jones said. “If it’s not moved, then I think Islam is a very poor example of religion. I think that would be very pitiful. I do not expect that.”\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Very biblical, with the “asking three times” and all.<\/p>\n
Clearly, Jones has succumbed to pressure from the stealth-Islamic president and his secret jack booted black helicopter riding security forces. Don’t you think?<\/p>\n
What a colossal waste of energy.<\/p>\n
