I know these are three totally unconnected items but I wanted to point you towards them quick before Huxley and I head off for the park:<\/p>\n

The story is very complicated and concerns the Relay for Life fund raising effort by the American Cancer Society, which has been criticized here<\/a>. You have to read the original post here<\/strong><\/a>. When you’ve finished reading it, you will probably think the same thing I do: The American Cancer Society wants to avoid being associated with atheists, even atheists trying to hand them big huge wadges of dough.<\/p>\n

Personally, I don’t care. I think the American Cancer Society is a lousy fundraising tool and mostly makes money for itself. <\/p>\n
