The interview will be Sunday, March 22, <a href=\"http:\/\/mnatheists.org\/news-and-media\/podcast\/1044-gmo-revisited-anastasia-bodnar-and-greg-laden-on-atheists-talk-307-march-22-2015\">DETAILS HERE<\/a>. She is very interested in the intersection between science and policy when it comes to agriculture.&#8221;  The Interview will be next Sunday, March 22nd, on <a href=\"http:\/\/mnatheists.org\/news-and-media\/podcast\">Atheist Talk Radio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Anastasia is an expert on GMOs, and that is mainly what we&#8217;ll be talking about.  <a href=\"http:\/\/mnatheists.org\/news-and-media\/podcast\/1031-gmo-s-and-social-media-anastasia-bodnar-on-atheists-talk-299-january-25-2015\">Mike Haubrich interviewed Dr. Bodnar on Atheist Talk Radio a few weeks ago<\/a>, but they did not get through all the interesting stuff they wanted to cover, so this will be like Part II but with me.<\/p>\n<p>A bit about Anastasia <a href=\"http:\/\/about.me\/geneticmaize\">from her web page<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Originally from Florida, Anastasia has a BS in Biology from the University of Maryland and a PhD in Genetics, with a minor in Sustainable Agriculture, from Iowa State. Anastasia researched using biotech and breeding to enhance nutritional traits in corn and investigated potential unintended effects of genetic engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to completing college, Anastasia served as a Preventive Medicine Specialist in the US Army. In Seoul, she led a team of specialists in public health, occupational health, and environmental inspections. At Ft. Meade, she was program manager for a West Nile virus surveillance program for the north-eastern US. She also served as a Department of Defense certified pest controller, consulting on integrated pest management methods.<\/p>\n<p>In 2011, Anastasia was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow and worked at the National Institutes of Health. She conducted special projects in science policy, science communication, and legislative affairs.
