{"id":10000,"date":"2011-07-26T20:38:49","date_gmt":"2011-07-26T20:38:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/gregladen\/2011\/07\/26\/nyiragongo-volcano\/"},"modified":"2011-07-26T20:38:49","modified_gmt":"2011-07-26T20:38:49","slug":"nyiragongo-volcano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gregladen.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/26\/nyiragongo-volcano\/","title":{"rendered":"Nyiragongo Volcano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve spent a fair amount of time in Goma Congo (Zaire), trying hard to stay out of trouble, and I&#8217;ve flown around this mountain and driven around this mountain or its sister volcanoes, and the very existence of this volcano field has a lot to do with some of the research I&#8217;ve done.
