Sixty-eight percent of Americans interviewed in the Sept. 11-13 USA Today/Gallup poll say they oppose what Wilson did, while 21% say they support it.

Over half of those asked claimed to follow the story somewhat to very closely.

Not surprisingly, there were party differences in people’s opinion, but not to the degree one might expect. (Remember, these are people being asked in a poll, not showing up at a rally and being featured on TV).

For Republicans, the break down was 39:52 support:oppose

For Democrats, the break down was 3:96 support:oppose

This PROVES that what we are seeing in congress … the activities of the Republican party … do NOT represent the people who elected them. This is good news for Democrats because it suggests that there will be further blue shifts in the next two election cycles.

Gallup agrees with me:

Americans by more than a 3-to-1 margin oppose rather than favor Rep. Wilson’s shouting “You lie!” during President Obama’s healthcare speech last week. The fact that most Democrats oppose Wilson’s actions is not surprising. The majority opposition among Republicans is perhaps a little more unexpected, particularly given the vocal support that conservative talk-show hosts have given to Wilson, and given reports that contributions to Wilson’s re-election campaign have soared as a result of what he did. Republicans may be taking their cues on the incident from Republican leaders in the House and Senate, who have generally criticized Wilson’s actions.

YOU LIE!!!!

Once again, Republicans have been caught at their own game. You all know there was a big shindig in DC on September 12th to protest the blackness of our president, the liberalosity of our congress, the intelligence of the new policies such as Cash for Clunkers and Saving the Economy’s Ass and so on.

Well conservative yahoos have been passing around, blogging, twittering, and jerking off to a photograph showing a ZILLION people at the Washington Mall. Clearly this photograph shows the BIGGEST gathering of Amerkan Cit-sins EVAH overwhelmingly indicating that The People … ALL the people .. are united against the black guy who PRETENDS to be president. And so on.

But, there’s a catch. …

Well, actually, a few problems. The Yahoo Republicans are putting around the idea that there were over two million people at the Tea Party, and the photograph seems to suggest that. But the DC fire officials estimate that there were perhaps 60 to 75 thousand people.

FIRST RESPONDERZ DON’T LIE!!!!!

Then, if you look at the photograh, the National Museum of the American Indian, which was built in 2004, is MISSING!!!

What did Obama do with the Museum!!!!! What is his nefarious plan!!!!!

Also, there are cranes visible in the photograph that appear to be associated with the construction with an IMAX theater in the 1990s.

Now the Republicans are desperately trying to take the photograph back from the internet where they had previously spread it.

Sorry, Republicans. You got a Gennie out of the Bottle situation. Your best bet is to try to distract us with some other idiotic outbreak of yahooism. Oh, and …

YOU LIE!!!!!
