Spain remained neutral, in spite of being helped to become fully fascist by nazi Germany in the Spanish Civil War.
Fucking dictator Franco sent one division of troops, called the ‘blue’ division (because the Spanish fascists were ‘blueshirts’, as compared to German ‘brownshirts’, or Italian ‘blackshirts’) to help with ‘Operation Barbarossa’.
