Monkeys are much smaller in size than apes, of which there are Only 5 species, gorilla, orangutan, chimps, bononbos, & gibbons who are referred to as Lesser Apes, only because they’re smaller size than the other four. A few things to differentiate apes from monkeys – No tails, larger size – body & brain, and opposable thumbs.

He also stands up right, but when he doesn’t he is a knuckle-walker which is an ape thing. Monkeys will walk flat handed, with their palm on the ground. The man in the yellow hat is misinformed.
