It’s amazing that they’re still trying, and apparently getting, mileage out of that nothing burger. Normally I would ask how stupid a person has to be to believe the things said about it when the laptop that didn’t have any pictures or other oddities on it when “found” (according to the tech who turned it over) has, after passing through the hands of numerous people on the right, all sorts of terrible stuff on it (alleged to have, since nothing has been seen).

Normally I would ask how stupid someone needs to be to buy it, but we know one person who posts here who, we can say with close to 100% certainty, buys it hook, line, and sinker, so we know the required level of stupidity.

I stopped caring so much if Donald Trump died in his sleep on January 20th, about noon. I still care. It would still be nice, since he is still a threat to the entire world, and especially the United States. But his dictatorship is over, and the reckoning has begun, and I’m thinking he will have a hard time running an effective campaign for president from within Wallkill Prison.

Location, cellular, and call record data revealed a call tying a Proud Boys member to the Trump White House, the official said. The F.B.I. has not determined what they discussed, and the official would not reveal the names of either party.

Enrique Tarrio (a high mucky-muck in the proud boys terrorist group) has told officials he called roger stone before Jan 6 during a protest in front of marco rubio’s house. The F.B.I. has said that call is not the subject of the White House related investigation. They are also scrutinizing pre-January 6 communications between the organizers of the attack on the Capitol and supporters in republican lawmakers who supported them.

I just read about that in the Washington Post. The guy had a Top Secret clearance! I agree with other commenters that more names of complicit staffers will emerge.

Meanwhile, Zoe Lofgren has released a report on social media activity by members of the House who voted to overturn the 2020 presidential election. I expect this to reveal some suspects also.
