The Electoral College is deeply flawed because he will again lose the popular vote.

That is the bit that bothers me, deeply undemocratic, it has been hi-jacked by corporate interests who really wouldn’t give a toss about RickA’s welfare either. If that gets Trump in again then the founding fathers will be spinning in their graves.

He has handled the coronavirus pandemic abominably throughout.
He is divisive, immature, childish and bullies his way through interviews and debates.
He is an obnoxious liar, and is deeply ignorant about history, geography, science, and politics.
He denies climate change and will pursue policies that gravely threaten the future.
He is the worst POTUS by far in US history, and anyone with half a brain can see it.

If he wins (which is highly unlikely at this stage) it will be because:

The vast majority of those who vote for him a cultists who are basically ignorant.
The Electoral College is deeply flawed because he will again lose the popular vote.

That is about it.

If Trump wins (which I still predict), it will be because:

1. He got more black votes than expected.
2. He got more Hispanic votes than expected.
3. He signed up more new voters than expected.
4. The Pollsters don’t know how to accurately poll in today’s world.

If Trump wins, which thankfully is looking less and less likely, it will be the skin of his teeth, and even more so than his wafer-thin victory over Clinton in 2016. He only won then because the founding fathers rigged the system to ensure that popular vote was not the only criteria for winning. He was only 1-5 percentage points behind Clinton in most polls by this late stage (he still lost by 2.1 per cent), so let’s hope that Biden’s 7-10 point lead holds up and the malignant anti-environmental, pandemic facilitating narcissist is booted out in 9 days. Out of a terrible 2020 that would be a nice silver lining.
