Ability and knowledge not required for a UK Johnson government post—the boss cannot be shown up by his appointees, the fact that he shows himself up every time he opens his mouth is neither here nor there.

Most recently, he railed against Covid “health dictatorships”, saying it was “a bad time for people that would rather not be dictated to by officials, however well meaning”.
