Just in case anyone is swayed by Zoom being "end to end encrypted" -- it isn't, in the usual sense of only the source and receiver being able to see the message. Zoom's stuff is encrypted (not very well) to their survers, but they decrypt them in order to see where they need to be routed. Also, the video they record is kept, unencrypted, in an open Amazon (I believe) site. There have been issues with the way the 10-digit reg code are generated -- you can find programs that auto seach for active codes, and since the default settings allow anyone with a reg code to get in, that can be a problem.

They're working fast to fix things -- this huge ramp up in use caught them by surprise like it did all of them -- see the problems Microsoft Teams, Hangouts, and others have had. Server capacity is huge but still finite.
