I don&#039;t see it on my loo though, because mine is a composting one.  As someone who lives in a rural area and likes to grow my own food, it baffles me that our society so readily flushes away a product that is so full of plant nutrients.  As long as they&#039;re not medicated I happily ask people to poop in my toilet...]]></description>

Microbiologist here. Have some in the lab. More or less on purpose (on the plus side, when your Petri dish is contaminated with Serratia, you got a big red clue). Another strain was actually pigment-less, for a while.]]></description>
