Renewables are becoming cost-competitive with gas and at some point we&#039;ll again be faced with the reality that gas, in addition to being a fossil fuel, is finite. Renewable prices are going down. This is also true of offshore installations. Gas prices will inevitably go up. 

I agree that dangerous nuclear plants should be shut down. Ones that aren&#039;t dangerous should be subsidized. I don&#039;t see a market or a need for new nuclear plants.]]></description>
