He has the right idea.

The debate should be about repealing the second amendment.

As I have said before, laws banning bump stocks, requiring background checks, closing the gun show loophole and so forth do not violate the 2nd amendment and should be pursued first.

Laws banning assault weapons will be struck down and should not be included in other gun control bills.

If enough people want to ban guns, the 2nd amendment needs to be repealed or amended to permit gun banning.

I don’t think the 2nd amendment will be repealed, but at least Stevens has the right idea.

Another school shooting in Maryland.

The shooter was shot by an armed school resource officer.

It sounds like at least one other student was critically injured, but no word yet on the circumstances.

No word yet on the type of gun used by the shooter.

Tragic – but a much better response than Florida.
