Politicians, wealthy/influential vested interests, and useful idiots alike will all have to face the fact that our society will at some point not be able to sustain the ever-growing cost of the increased climate extremes that result from human-caused global warming, and that the integrity of the planet’s biodiversity will definitely not be able to cope in the face of these same climate changes. It’s a tragedy that we are still at the point where this is not acknowledged, and just to underscore the folly of deniers some of Australia’s rabid conservatives are saying that global warming is actually a good thing:
