The beginning of human society was when a bunch of low-hierarchy submissive males banded together and killed and ate the high-hierarchy males. Politics is all about the powerful trying to inflict enough damage to keep their rivals from replacing them, and Trump's followers are a fine example--- Trump's supporters RUN THE COUNTRY and have been doing so for centuries, and they are terrified at no longer being allowed to do so.

I suppose. I am still stunned that something as simple as showing that Chelsea’s husband is not related to Soros is denied as “just another liberal lie” though. Truly depressing.

How interesting that this modern election, what with all the instant access to new developments, and all the insight offered by modern technology, is still dominated by simple simian hormonal economics and tribal tradition. A childlike, Neanderthalish, groping, uncivil, media wise, narcissistic schlub with a silver spoon kick start has managed to dominate the Republican party. Should I be surprised?

Folks will be able to to analyze the human dynamics of this election for centuries.

They take the fact that Soros is rich and liberal as proof of corruption, just as the fact that Al Gore is rich and flies a lot is taken as proof that climate change is not a problem.
