@^ Magma : Seconded and certainly don't think anyone can be complacent when the prospect of a President (gag) Trump is actually close - too close for comfort anyhow.

As someone - even in Australia - who thinks about the future a bit, Trump has me seriously worried.

"I don’t really care if Uncle Bob doesn’t accept climate change. Uncle Bob votes for right wing yahoos anyway, that wasn’t going to change. Why should it matter what Uncle Bob thinks?"

Because Uncle Bob votes and can also perhaps influence the votes of others too.

But yes, it is indeed good to know most in power are at least smart enough to accept our climate reality.

Incidentally, it's a little confusing but after following the link I get what the figures are saying after :

"Responses were scored on a scale of 1-5 ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree, mean scores are reported in the table above."

5 obviously being strongly agree I gather.

Good to see this. I've been overestimating the dumb Bobs on comment forums and underestimating the smart Bobs that actually run things in many places.

On the other hand, Trump is polling within a percent or two of Clinton, so don't break out the champagne just yet.
