Nor have I any inclination to reverse what I said in 220. I haven’t called for any “comparisons”. I did ask you, given your call for a new system of handling this, to demonstrate why your novel approach would succeed. You haven’t responded. What are you claiming that we’re against anyway? We’ve only been taking the position that government needs to be involved in making changes to the grid to accommodate large-scale renewable generation. Your plan is not complete, except in the sense of “Government should only play free market cop and then corporations will make the right things happen in a timely fashion”. That’s not complete — you left a lot of key details to hand-waving and nebulous faith in Free Market idealisms. Pray tell, HOW is all this supposed to happen?
