The book arrived today. Yes, there are plants! A chapter is devoted to Cooksonia and other early plant groups. I dove right in, and can say it is a fast, excellent read.
Added this book to my cart.
QQ, Greg, are any plants covered in the book? There are, after all some spectacular plant fossils. Sometimes entire forests of them... It seems so often evolution is discussed only from the viewpoint of the fauna, and not the flora. (I realize that is because few Plantae are human ;-) )
