In a terrific irony--and a reminder that local weather is not climate--we have just experienced the most awful February on record here in Maine. I think Jennifer Francis is right: climate change has broken the jetstream and we're in for a rough ride here in New England. Look at the saggy temperatures through Feb. on this chart--and the huge-ass hump in the snow amounts:

cosmicomics#2

Dream, dream, the impossible dream... do you know the song?
The only reason the temp is going up; is because: preparing for the Paris conference! If you think that: apparatchiks can monitor the ''global'' temp to one hundredth of a degree... my tiers will not help you much - you need different help...
Nobody knows the ''global'' temp to save his / her life - because nobody is monitoring on 99,99999999999% of the planet PLUS: only is taken the ''hottest'' minute in 24h, and ignored all the other 1439 minutes; which fluctuate independently. it has being already proven that the phony warming is just that, phony - so: relax and enjoy life! Stop dreaming about catastrophes, it only shortens your life. Start to think positive, instead of daydreaming catastrophes -> you will regain respect in yourself!

"We may only be two months into 2015, but already the year is burning up the charts, setting up the possibility that it could topple 2014’s newly minted record for hottest year.

Together, January and February were the warmest such period on record, according to global data released Wednesday by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. With an El Niño (albeit a weak one) in place, there’s potential for that warmth to stick around and elevate temperatures for more of the year."
