Greg, if you want to have a nice series of blog fodder documenting what an entitled dipwad “Say Anything” Entenza is, look no further than Bluestem Prairie.

In post number one, Bluestem’s Sally Jo Sorensen not only rips apart Entenza’s Voter ID smear against Otto, but shows other examples of the sort of misbehavior that has made Entenza despised among longtime DFLers:

Post Number Two shows a sample of the bulk mail slime attack Entenza launched against Otto (a mailing that arrived in mailboxes a day after the OAH ruled against Entenza WRT this attack), as well as samples of the reaction of Minnesota politics mavens to Entenza’s bogosities:

Post number three shows that contrary to what Entenza would have us believe, Rebecca Otto not only was not in favor of the 2012 voter suppression amendment, but her husband and campaign manager Shawn Otto wrote a commentary for the Star Tribune that strongly opposed it. Entenza, on the other hand, is not known to have done anything to oppose the voter suppression amendment until November of 2012, days before the election:

You also state Entenza’s history of running in Primaries against DFL endorsed candidates. He has only done that once in 2010 the same year Governor Dayton did. He has never run in a contested primary outside of that. I guess doing it once in 20 years of running for office does technically meet the definition of “history” but I would think you would be above that kind of stretching of the truth.

Lou, that is not what I said. If there is a needed correction to anything I said, I'll make the correction, but I can't do much about stuff people get wrong.

And Lou, I’d like to add this. Entenza is effectively trying to do the same thing Sviggum did. Which makes him kind of an asshole and a permanently tainted candidate for the DFL.

Lou, I’ve deleted some of this comment and all of another comment that consisted of misinformation, in appropriate innuendo, and otherwise, bullshit. And you will not be allowed to comment here in the future.

The reason for your being banned is the idiotic, offensive, and highly misleading statement you made that I did leave up.

in 2003, Otto and her husband were indicted by a grand jury for allegedly distributing false campaign material, a misdemeanor. She replied that the charges, filed by then-House Speaker Steve Sviggum, a Republican, were politically motivated and baseless.[2] She was supported by a number of individuals, including former Republican Governor Arne Carlson, who signed a letter criticizing the indictment as politically motivated. In December 2003, the indictment was criticized by the judge as improper, the charges were dismissed by the court, and part of the law was stricken as unconstitutional.
