It really is about to explode and the money from the Kochs and others of their ilk keeping the news suppressed will not stop it. I'm blown away by this bit of technology I read about this morning http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/01/140115074336.htm something to keep a close eye on. You have to read to the end of the article though to get the real kicker - put a couple of hundred thousand of these on your house and power it even in a slight breeze, day or night.

It takes a while for this to sink in. I takes, perhaps, much study of evolutionary psychology, history, anthropology, and archaeology. But here's the troubling truth:

Words, messaging, and rhetoric make NO difference at all when it comes to human behavior. ZERO, NADA.

People are NOT persuaded of ANYTHING by facts, or the presentation of facts. People are irrational animals who react first, and justify later.

All the piles and mountains and reams of information are a complete waste, if the intention was to influence the final outcome. Words, reason, and facts do not motivate anyone to do anything they weren't already inclined to do.

Let that sink in and you can save yourself a lot of video watching, commenting, and arguing.
